Poem About Obedience

I don't like to do dishes very much,
But I do them anyway.
I am a little queasy at taking out the trash,
But what am I supposed to say?

No, Mom. I won't do it.
I don't want to.
No! That's wrong.
I'm sorry, but that's not what the Bible says to say in Genesis, Exodus or Psalm.

Moms are in charge of kids.
That's life, that's how God made it.
He loves us just so much,
That when we disobey He can barely take it!

When mothers tell their kids,
Go do this and go do that.
We should do it without fussing or
sighing, which is acting like a brat.

I think kids should help their parents.
Wash the dishes, make their beds,
Cause God is always watching,
and He always knows what's cooking in their heads.

The more chores, the better!
I think is how it should be.
It teaches us kids how to be mature,
And shows us responsibility.

And punishments are necessary,
no matter how hard it can be.
When you just have to tell them,
Next time, THINK, HONEY!

Parents are responsible,
As to how their children act.
And so, when the time comes,
They must tell us STOP THAT!

Doing dishes, is not so hard,
Neither is making beds.
You should never think you're being abused,
Inside you childish head.

So, you have to wash the dishes.
Why? Because Mom said.
Now either you can do it now,
or get sent straight to bed.

No. Not straight to bed.
This may offend someone,
But that kid should get spanked,
so that he'll regret what he has done.

Mom will always love you,
since love isn't a prize you have to earn.
But, she is preparing you for the future,
when life will require you to DO WHAT YOU'RE TOLD and LEARN.

Well, the dishes are waiting.
and Mom has told you to wash them and put them away.
Now you already read my post, so...
'Yes, Ma'am. I'm coming.' are the perfect words to say.

I had to learn these rules.
And I hope you other kids can too.
Cause I am absolutely positively sure,
That your parents will thank you.

Love and God Bless. Keep praying for Madeleine McCann.

You made some good points there. I did a search about the subject and barely found any specific details on other websites, but then happy to be here, seriously, thanks.
