It Is Almost Here

Tomorrow night we open presents. Tonight I get to see my cousin, Shane. (Battle-King to you all) Don't bother checking his blog, because I guarantee that he has no new posts. Saturday we go to South Carolina. It is all taking forever!
I am dressing for the Holidays! Tuesday I went to the office here and gave some cookies to the workers. The party I had, all the girls helped in decorating the cookies! I am finished wrapping presents. Completely finished. Done. Nothing left. Zilch.
I am looking forward to tonight! Church is always exciting, is it not??
My friend, Katie, has her own blog now. I got her started, thank you very much! I am responsible!
She and I always go around this neighborhood, wearing our matching Santa hats! We believe that since it is Christmas, we should spread Christmas cheer! So, we sing Christmas carols, and tell everyone who walks by, "Merry Christmas!!" The friendly greeting is always returned, which is reassuring.
We almost always meet together in either the playground or the library and play games. Me and Katie aren't the only ones. There is also another Katy, and Shauna, and Charis, and Debbie, usually, who is from Venezuela also! They are all pleasant, and make up the JUG Club.
Shauna is our basic leader. She thinks up ideas of things for us to do, such as games and quizzes. She is very creative!

And, I must go now, so,

Bye!!

December...How Much Longer?? When Will It Come to An END??

I have been waiting forever... Or so it seems... December has decided to take especially long this year. I want it to end! I want to see my cousins! I want to open presents!! NOW!!! LOL! ;)
I may sound very impatient. The Reason: I AM!!! I can't wait for next weekend! We are opening presents next Saturday! One of the reasons? Well, my parents know that they can't keep me out of the presents much longer. So, they figure they'd better get it over with so that they can have peace! Plus, they are just as impatient as me inside!
I have quite a few things to do! I have to buy some presents! I have a Christmas Caroling Banquet Friday! WE OPEN GIFTS SATURDAY!!! WOO HOO!!!
I am twitchy as a jitterbug! I just want to get my hands on that enormous package that says JAYDE on the front! Or the envelope that has MY name written on it and feels a LOT like some sort of Gift Card is inside it! OR, the bag that has something hard and heavy in it. I confess: I have felt around in the bag. That was before Mom scooped it out of my arms and put it behind the tree! ARGH! Why do parents like to torture their children? This is so unjust! I told Mom,
"I pretty much already know what everything is. You might as well let me open them." Of course, she said no. IT MAKES NO SENSE!!! She knows I have a pretty close idea to what is inside the bag! SHE KNOWS! I don't understand. When I told her that, she just gave me a sarcastic look that said, "Do you REALLY, beyond a shout of a doubt think I am gonna let you open them?REALLY??"
I know the exact answer to that simple, easy question: No. Nope. Absolutely not. SORRY!!
It would be so much easier! Honestly! WHY do I have to wait? Is there some enormous law that says, "NO OPENING PRESENTS UNTIL CHRISTMAS MORNING!! OR YOU'LL GO TO JAIL FOR FORTY YEARS!!!"
Well, there is a law that I must honor anyway. "Honor thy father and mother." So I MUST honor her. That doesn't mean I have to like it! Especially where presents are involved.
And there are all of the presents. Just sitting under the tree, calling, "OPEN ME! OPEN ME!" Every time I walk by our little four-foot tree. I want to shout back, " BE QUIET!! DON'T SAY A WORD!!! I CAN'T! I JUST CAN'T!!! NOW SHUSH!!"
It's such a happy little tree. With colorful lights and tiny ornaments. So cute and peaceful. And there are the tempting presents. With pretty bows and tissue paper on them. With objects that I will not say what they are inside. An angel on the top is on my mother's side. "Jayde! Don't even think about it! I cross my heart I will blow my plastic horn and your mother will come! Don't even touch them! Go Away!" The little ornaments are not with me neither against me. When the presents say yes, the angel says no, I want a third opinion and ask the ornaments, and they just shrug and say, "I don't know. Your choice." Wow! Such helpful little things, aren't they? Personally, I think I don't know shouldn't qualify as an answer. Unless you are doing school and don't know the answer to the problem. THEN it is fine.

Well, I need to make some lists. And sing some happy Christmas songs.

Love,

Jayde

What I Think About When I Say S.W.A.T!

I said SWAT team for some reason today, and thought of a hilarious meaning!

Imagine..

Your house.... Infested by billions of flies, mosquitos, etc? Who you gonna call?

SWAT TEAM!!!

And some professional uniformed people bust into your house with gigantic fly-swatters!
"We heard you had a problem that needed to be dealt with.Where are they?"

And all afternoon, your living room is full of shouts, "On the coffee table! Get him, Max!"
"Bart, he is RIGHT behind you!"
"I missed him! Get him, John!!"
"GO, GO, GO!! ON THE WINDOWSILL!!!"
"CHARGE!!!!!GET HIM!! HE'S ON THE COUNTER!!!!"
"YAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH!!!"
"There is a HUGE group of them on the blue couch!"
"CRASH! BANG! SMACK!!"

But, hey, at least when they leave, your house is nice and free of flies!

HAHA!!

Love Jayde.

DON'T MISS MY POST BELOW!!! I DID A POEM!!

Christmas! A Season To be Cheerful!

I certainly am cheerful! I recieved a whole lot of Target giftcards the other night! But...is that REALLY what I should be the most thankful for?

Or, should I be more thankful that the Savior Jesus Christ was born? To grow up and save us from our sins? And give us what we don't deserve?

Should we think only of Christmas as related to 'presents'? Or, should we remember....

The meaning of Christmas,
Is true and real,
It's not about presents,
Or the gifts appeal!

Though we may not have been there,
To see the great sight.
Three kings did see it,
And it gave them quite a fright!

A star in the heavens,
Bright and high,
An angel told them,
Follow that star in the sky!

So they rode their camels,
Not knowing where they were going,
But they made it to a manger,
And there was baby Jesus, all the while knowing.

They gave him gifts,
Presents and more,
Presents that no one,
can find in a toy store.

And right beside the child,
In the animals' stall,
Sat Joseph and Mary,
Sheep, cows and all.

Who would have known,
The greatest gift unless,
Jesus had been there,
King of Righteousness.

So while you set up your Nativity scene,
And put up your tree,
Remember the meaning,
And be thankful as can be!

I hope you remember.
I sure do!
I'm glad I could share
This quick poem with you!

Well, Merry Christmas!

Remember the reason for the season!

Love,

Jayde

Update

Tomorrow. The day I have been dreading all week... Tomorrow we hit the schoolbooks...HARD. Social Studies, History, Biology, they are all just fine. Math, however, is not. I do not like Math. And Math doesn't seem to like me, either. I don't get it. Sure, I am quite capable of acing Math. I just don't seem to want to. I don't like Math. I hate it, in fact.

I am good at memorizing. I can memorize entire songs in languages I don't speak. Why??

I wish I knew. Maybe I do? I am not sure.

I hope that tomorrow will go well. And that all of the Math problems will vanish.. As soon as I wake up tomorrow, I will tell myself, "Today is a new day." Like Chicken Little. "I CAN DO THIS!"
"MATH IS AS OF NOW INFERIOR TO ME!" And a bunch of other sayings that are supposedly inspirational. By Johnny, they'd better work!

I hope I get good grades and am able to concentrate... I THINK I CAN!!!

Well,

Love,

Jayde

GET OFF THE BRANCH, DADDY!! YOU'RE MAKING US LOOK LIKE BABIES!!!

What makes you think that you can just barge in here and take my picture??!!

HAHA!! You can't accept the agony of defeat. I'm cuter than you, admit it!

GET BACK HERE WITH MY ACORNS!!!

Gettin' Organized!

I cleaned my entire room last night, as well as unpacked my suitcase. I never get the mood to clean my room, but, the mood just struck me last night as soon as I was free from the car! It feels great!
I am a little untidy, and my entire family knows it, so it was a bit strange to go through all of my drawers, fold things, stack things, and throw away trash! Maybe it was because I went shopping before, and knew I needed to make room for all the stuff I bought! I am the person who shops the most, so because I shop... A LOT... my parents gave me a rule to follow. 'However many things you buy, that's how many you have to give away, donate, or toss." So, that is what I do. I buy a cute shirt, I have to give away a shirt.

As for my room, I feel that I can breathe! No more things in my drawer I don't need!

MY DESK:

First drawer is empty, so I have an extra spot.
Second drawer contains all of my art supplies! It is packed! So, I don't need any more art supplies!
Third drawer has a few odds and ends, and I will take care of it later, and find the perfect things to put in it.
Fourth drawer, have my quick-notebooks, stationary, a bookmark, and my diary. LOCKED, of course.

MY WHITE CHEST:
A bit difficult, because I share it with Jewel, but my first drawer contains all of my JUG CLUB stuff. JUG CLUB (JUG= Just Us Girls) is a club that is only for girls, and we learn how to become WOGs. (Women of God.) We have to have folders, and pens, and that is what fills my first drawer.
Second drawer, contains my Bible, and some Christmas gifts that I am going to give away.
Third drawer, my wallet (empty!HAHA!) and some things to grab quickly.
Fourth drawer, has my clothes. Winter clothes, that I don't need in Florida.

BED DRAWER:
I have only one, and it as some warm clothes as well, and some bookmarks in a little gift bag.

BUREAU:
First three drawers contain clothes I wear frequently, and the bottom has hair stuff and belts.

CLOSET:
Floor has a MILLION shoes stacked on top of each other neatly. Including my adorable froggy slippers that I got yesterday. And my clothes are all hung neatly.

TOP BUNK:
Is made neatly, and has stuffed animals facing forward, with their backs against the wall, with two books I am reading stacked in a front corner for a homey-cozy affect. With my pink iPod.
And my comfy yellow SQUSH pillow against my over pillow.

TOP OF BUREAU:
Has my purple suede jewelry box, with a heart shaped container holding my beanie monkey,
and a cute pink tulip-shaped mirror, and the stand of it is green. It looks like a tulip. And my turtle collection. Including the ones given to me by my cousin, Shane, the Battle King, when he went to Mexico, he brought them back for me, and a few from Naomy Coronado.

TOP OF DESK:
Is a bit messy, but you can see the color of it. All it needs is to be stacked. My glasses case, my 'desk organizer' that holds all pens, pencils, highlighters, erasers, etc. My red Bible, my Spanish bible, my Artemis Fowl book, (GREAT books!) and my sermon notebook. ALONG with my white clock, and a plastic case for my iPod, my notebook laying open, a can of sparkle-spray perfume, and a leather purse.

TOP OF WHITE CHEST:
Nothing but my blue sweatshirt!

I already collected things to donate, and they are all ready to go! Thank you, thank you very much!

What do you think? I think it is the neatest I have ever cleaned! Give me your oppinion!

Well, goodbye, Blogosphere, but I have to get on with the day!

Victory for Venezuela

Well, I had a feeling that Chavez was going to cheat as he did in last few elections and any voting that includes him. He has a bad habit of cheating. But, God made a miracle happen. He gave Venezuela their own voice. He gave the country strength to to say what they wanted to, they could vote for what they wanted. I went to bed last night feeling that he was going to win again (surprise, surprise!), but woke up today with a new light. This just proves that God certainly CAN do anything. Chavez accepted the defeat, and congratulated the opposition. Maybe he didn't do it whole-heartedly, but nevertheless, he said it. It gives me great joy to know that Venezuela is realizing Chavez's plan to, well, rule the world. Just like every dictator. Hitler, Castro... RULE THE WORLD is their greatest desire. Chavez is no different.

I find it stupid that a lady said, "It is hard to accept the fact of the opposition winning, but Chavez is still here for us. He won't abandon us."

Think over the fact that Chavez left the computers alone. That he played the game fair. (For once.)

All last night we were looking at Daniel's blog. He kept it updated nicely. Every time something happened, he would jot it down on his blog. So that we could see what was happening.

Baduel came out and announced that they were going to make an announcement that the government would not like.

And I can tell you right now, it just killed Chavez. He is realizing that Venezuelans have their own mind, and he can't do anything about what they think. Nada. Zilch.

They turned against him now, they can turn against him again. IF, Chavez will play fair, and let 'his people' decide.

Praise God for the strength he gave the Venezuelan citizens. They could lose their jobs, but, they are going to vote against him, or die trying!
I'm proud of them!

Love,

Jayde

Terere, It's Addictive!

I was introduced to the cultural drink of Paraguay, just yesterday. Terere. And I absolutely LOVE it! I was going to buy my own terere set, but I decided to wait until next year when I am actually here to use it. In the U.S, they don't have the herbs to make terere, so I would just be carrying a big leather jug around with either plain water, or lemonade or something, and that is just WRONG! Termos are made for terere, and terere only! Or, mate, the HOT drink here. But other than that, NOTHING!

I have been sipping on terere since yesterday. If I am going to another room, I grab the jug, and head over there. I refuse to leave the termo in the room, when I could be sipping the cold, spicy drink! I REFUSE!!!

I love it, and I know that when I come back, I will be drinking it just as much (Maybe even MORE) than all of the other Parguayans here. I see why they take it around. IT'S DELICIOUS!

It is official! I will LOVE my new home. I WILL! As long as there is a leather jug of cold terere in my hand, with the guampa and the bolbilla, I know I will be just fine. Happy as a Cricket!

In fact, I am drinking terere right now! The termo is right beside me. The spicy drink is at my fingertips, which is how I prefer it!

My favorite thing about it, is how just one sip of the cold drink is so refreshing! One sip, and the cold liquid goes all the way through you, it seems! And the flavor, of course! The strong, spicy flavor! Oh, I LOVE IT!!

And now, I must bid you all farewell. And I am sorry that not all of you can taste this wonderful drink! Sorry, but it's mine! ALL MINE!! AHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!

Well,
Bye and Keep Checking Up on Me!

Love and Blessings!

My Other Blog. IN CASTELLANO!!

Language, Culture and More Tidbits of Paraguay

Well, Paraguay is a very nice, cozy little place. So they aren't millionaires, but I prefer that they aren't. Venezuela was great, but the pressure just wasn't worth it. Here, you can look outside your front patio door, and there are no Chavez propagandas that were spray-painted overnight. I LOVE IT!!!
The language, however, will be a little trickier, but since I already know Castellano, and will have to learn Spanish, and I am trying to teach myself a fifth language(Ye'kwana), French, I should be pretty good at picking up other languages later on in life. I'll be very well equipped!
There are differences in culture as well. Which doesn't surprise me, because in each country there are always SOME differences.
Here, the people drink terere and matte ( I haven't learned how to spell words here yet, so it may be wrong), and they have clean patios.
Here are some of the differences in words:
PAR:Vos VEN:Tu
So, if someone asks me, "Vos quiereis mas pan?" I have to translate the vos to tu and turn it into French, and finally say, "Si, gracias." It may sounds wierd, but it it is a lot easier for me, considering the different languages I speak. That is just how I do it.
Also, there are some words that are strange to Venezuelans but make so much sense to Paraguayans.

Yep. It'll take some getting used to, but, there are no strikes going on outside my front door, so it is just fine here.

Blessings!
Jayde

Joyfulness!

I am sometimes not a joyful person. Mostly, I am. But when I am angry or upset, I can be pretty quiet.
For example, I HATE washing dishes! I hate it! It is just the worst thing to do, for me. Taking out the trash or cleaning my room is better than doing the dishes! I HATE IT!!
But, unfortunately I have a problem. I am usually kinda grumpy when I have to do dishes. I do it slowly and quietly, and try not to talk too much. I will do the dishes, if I am told to, or simply out of politeness, but it is still not my favorite thing to do. But, as my family knows, I can be extremely cheerful, and even TOO cheerful if you set me going, at other times. I am the chatterbox of my family, which isn't always a good thing. I also laugh easily. And that can get very annoying.
But, the problem is, that when I am doing something I don't want to do, I lose all of my cheerfulness. I try not to laugh at jokes, and am just well, a bit of a party-pooper. But, come on. Everyone has times when they aren't at their best. I am not the only one. For instance, Elena is not the most cheerful person when she is tired. Abigail is mostly sweet and quiet and content, but when she is hungry or tired, she kicks the crying up a notch. But don't we all??
We are all great people, but we lose all our happiness when we are doing something we don't like to do. What I need to learn, is to keep that joy with me ALL the time. Instead of being quiet and slow, I should break out in a big musical number while I scrub the plate, or recite my favorite verses when I rinse that fork. I need to stay cheerful.
So, what about you? What puts you in a good mood, and what are your most terrible pet peeves when you're at your worst?Let me know in your comment!
I am cheerful when there is a lot of things going on. All of that joy goes away when I have to wash dishes.
Proverbs 15:15 has a great message on being cheerful.

Questions MKs HATE to Answer

1.Which do you like better, your mission field or the USA?
(They feel very uncomfortable. It may seem like an easy question, but once you live double lives, and meet dear friends everywhere, you tell me it's easy.)
2. How do you say my name in Spanish? Whichever second language you speak, this is just my example.
(This isn't emotional like the first one. Simply because they have to answer that EXACT SAME question, in almost every single church they visit. It is that simple. Again, try living the MK average life, and then see for yourself.)
3.Can you speak Spanish?
(Because MKs think of it as obvious that they speak Spanish, when they are standing in front of the mission display that says, CLEARLY, "The Vernoys. Missionaries to Paraguay." So, when you ask them that, it's like asking someone, "are you a human?"
4.Which language do you speak more?
(Who knows? That is like asking someone how many times they blink every year.)
5.Do you like living in your mission field?
(To an MK, it is obvious that they like living in the only place they can really feel at home. If they didn't, they wouldn't be there. It is like asking someone, "do you like living in your house?")
6. Do you have any friends in Paraguay?
(Do you think we have friends? Or do you think we are some alien species that no one wants to be around or talk to, just because we're different?)

Questions MKs LOVE to answer:

1.What is your favorite food down in Paraguay?
(Most MKs like talking about their field. So, this is a great question, that they can answer freely.)
2.I hear it's pretty in Paraguay, what's your favorite part about living there?
(Again, they love to talk about their field.)
3.What kinds of animals and pets do they have in Paraguay?
(MKs usually have exotic pets. It's like a big advantage of being an MK. So they can tell about their pets, and feel comfortable talking about something different. For once.)
4. I bet you make lots of friends. What are they like?
(Again, they can talk and talk about their friends. Names, ages.)
5.So do they have really cool food?
(NEVER refer to foreign food as wierd. For a lot of full-time MKs, your favorite food is wierd. This question, referring to their food as cool, is like heaven to them.)

Other things not to do when around MKs:

1.Don't talk about them being wierd behind their back. They can usually feel it.

2.Don't ask them boring or personal questions, because they feel like they are being studied, or are your social studies project. Believe me, it isn't a nice feeling. If you do need their perspective on your Social Studies or Geography project, ask them, and they'll really help you. Using them trying to be sneaky, doesn't, I repeat, DOES NOT work.

Things to do when around MKs:

1. Instead of trying to avoid them because they are wierd or you don't know them, invite hem to join you, ask them to teach you their favorite Paraguayan game, and try to include them.

2. If you are going to invite them over to eat, find out what their favorite Paraguayan food is, and try to make as close as possibel to that when they eat with you. THEY LOVE IT!!

3.Try to get to know them. Try to relate to them, and let them know that you don't care what they do or that they are different, is really the best thing you can do to be nice to them.

I hope you learned something.Ha!

Love,

Jayde

Thanksgiving

HAPPY THANKSGIVING EVERYONE!!!

Today we had a DELICIOUS Thanksgiving feast! Turkey cooked by Brian, mashed potatoes, stuffing, green beans and bacon, and some nice pies made by Jackie. The food was GREAT!! And the meaning of this special day dates WAY back. Good ol' Squanto!
Here is a little list of not even half of what I'm thankful for:
-Being with my nieces
-Getting here to Paraguay safely
-The scrumptious food, that many people in the world can only dream about
-My family
-My friends
-My salvation

Here are things I always try to remember on Thanksgiving Day:
-Soldiers who wish they could be with their family now, but put themselves in the dangerous field, faithful to their country
-Babies and adults around the world dying of hunger
-People who don't know the real meaning of this day, thinking only of the food
-People who have tried and failed many times to help, but can never get all the way
-People who need the LORD, so they can celebrate Thanksgiving the RIGHT way

Think about your own things you are thankful for, and let me know so I can read them!! :)
Bye 4 Now,

Great! Thanks!

Emails, Face-to-Face, or Letters?

It is so great to be back! Where I can write a post whenever I want to, where I can send someone a nice little email, or even type out the name of a funny video and have myself a laugh! Internet is such a blessing!
Have you ever thought about which is more personal? Email, Face-To-Face or Letters?
Personally, I think if it is something extremely personal, like an urgent message or an super important secret, then I think it should be done face-to-face. That is just me.
And if you want something personal and sweet, a letter. Like a birthday card! I like Birthday eCards, but I prefer letters (And not just because they usually come with a birthday gift of money, which is EXTREMELY welcome, BTW!),simply because I think reading a birthday card is GREAT! And when I finish reading it I have something to keep in my card collection!
Emails are great for a cute, little message. Like a 'how are you? you're welcome to the Thanksgiving party at my house. I hope you can come!' Just little quick things. Even friend to friend messages, with elaborate dancing images or sparkly poems. Those are great! (I especially love the ones that play pretty music while you scroll down!) Emails, Letters or face to face?
All are great!
Emails are Excellent, Letters are Lovely, and Face-to-Face is FANTASTIC!

Well, I am tired, and need to go to bed, so
BYE!
Jayde

Sorry!!

Hey.

Our house has almost no internet so we can't blog, including me. That is my explanation until we get back to Florida where we do have internet.
Please don't abandon me, and I really wish I could blog, but unfortunately I can't.

God Bless, and please forgive me.

Bye!

Update

Hey everyone.

The answer to true or false tuesday is FALSE!!

I have never eaten a beetle terryaki salad before in my LIFE.

But, come to think of it, it would be interesting to try it sometime.
After all, there is a first time for everything.

Love and Blessings!

Jayde

I HATE ANTS!!

Ants have invaded the kitchen and they are getting very annoying. Every time I see them, I open the cupboards and get out my new best friend: RAID: ANT & ROACH KILLER!

So I spray them with the bug spray, and those ones die. Then, I turn around to see the sink, and find a new troop that are taking little leftover bits of food from the drains. I mean, I might as well carry the RAID around the whole kitchen while I fix my food. Like, today I was making a bologna and cheese sandwich, and they had taken over the dry food cupboards.

But, fortunately, they hadn't taken over my CHEEZ ITS. Which is smart for an ant. Because if they had, they would be my enemies. And whenever I saw them, they would die without knowing what hit them!

And I absolutely HATE it when they charge the trash can. But, obviously, that is a place that an ant would like to be. Think about it!

Well, the ants feel tremendous joy when they see the old empty Dominoes Pizza box with little bits of crust and melted cheese still in it, and Oreo packages, and stuff like that.

So, my plan tonight, is to save what is left of the refrigerator, clean it out with a wet rag, and organize the drawers.

Then, I will get my best friend RAID, and take all the items out of all the cupboards, and let RAID do his thing.

Also, I am helping Mom out, because she loves an organized, fresh cleaned kitchen, so I'm sure she will be overjoyed.

PREPARE TO FEEL MY WRATH, ANTS!!!!

AHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!

Love,

xxjaydexx

Oh, and keep praying for Madeleine McCann. She still needs prayer.

True or False Tuesday!!

I have eaten a beetle terryaki salad before.

TRUE or FALSE????

U tell me!

Answer Friday. Be there. Haha.

love,

Poem About Obedience

I don't like to do dishes very much,
But I do them anyway.
I am a little queasy at taking out the trash,
But what am I supposed to say?

No, Mom. I won't do it.
I don't want to.
No! That's wrong.
I'm sorry, but that's not what the Bible says to say in Genesis, Exodus or Psalm.

Moms are in charge of kids.
That's life, that's how God made it.
He loves us just so much,
That when we disobey He can barely take it!

When mothers tell their kids,
Go do this and go do that.
We should do it without fussing or
sighing, which is acting like a brat.

I think kids should help their parents.
Wash the dishes, make their beds,
Cause God is always watching,
and He always knows what's cooking in their heads.

The more chores, the better!
I think is how it should be.
It teaches us kids how to be mature,
And shows us responsibility.

And punishments are necessary,
no matter how hard it can be.
When you just have to tell them,
Next time, THINK, HONEY!

Parents are responsible,
As to how their children act.
And so, when the time comes,
They must tell us STOP THAT!

Doing dishes, is not so hard,
Neither is making beds.
You should never think you're being abused,
Inside you childish head.

So, you have to wash the dishes.
Why? Because Mom said.
Now either you can do it now,
or get sent straight to bed.

No. Not straight to bed.
This may offend someone,
But that kid should get spanked,
so that he'll regret what he has done.

Mom will always love you,
since love isn't a prize you have to earn.
But, she is preparing you for the future,
when life will require you to DO WHAT YOU'RE TOLD and LEARN.

Well, the dishes are waiting.
and Mom has told you to wash them and put them away.
Now you already read my post, so...
'Yes, Ma'am. I'm coming.' are the perfect words to say.

I had to learn these rules.
And I hope you other kids can too.
Cause I am absolutely positively sure,
That your parents will thank you.

Love and God Bless. Keep praying for Madeleine McCann.

McCann Update

Well, the police think that Mrs. Kate McCann, who happens to be a doctor, was accused of overdosing the girl with either medication or drugs.
They found hair and Madeleine's blood in a car that the parents had rented 25 days after Madeleine's disappearance.

The police are trying to find Mrs. Kate McCann's diary, for any sign or clue of her daughter's disappearance.
They have already searched the house, and the car, and the hair and blood was all they could find.
But, they are looking at every toy and clothing item of Madeleine's, such as the faded pink bunny that Mrs. McCann has been seen carrying around, and Madeleine's dresses and socks, for any trace of recent usage.

No one has any idea where Madeleine is at the moment, but about 5 or 7 months ago, a lady walking out of a church supposedly saw Madeleine in a nearby alley, being carried away by two large men, and little Madeleine was put into a dark car. The license plate number is unknown, as the woman tried to memorize it, but when she looked the second time, the car was gone.
Which means that the men must have been in a hurry.

The lady is now missing as well, as I would suppose, since she saw Madeleine.
You would think that the men would have grabbed her so that she wouldn't give them away.

The authorities still say Mrs. McCann is a suspect. Mr. McCann, they are not sure, but they do believe he knows about her disappearance in some secretive way.

But, they haven't found any trace or clue of Madeleine anywhere except the hair and the blood in the McCann's rented car.

Back to you, O' Reilly.

Haha! I just had to add that!

Everyone, keep dear Madeleine in your prayers. She needs it, I can assure you.

This Is For Madeleine McCaan And All The Other Ones

A song I heard today, and I nearly cried and I want to share it with you.

The first verses don't fit but I am going to do it anyway. It fits for all those children in the world.
With the same problem, and worse problems. I will sing it on youtube and give you the URL to see it when I do.

She goes to school with the lunch she packed.
Nobody knows what she's holding back.
Wearing the same dress that she wore yesterday.
She hides the bruises with the linen and lace.

The teacher wonders but she doesn't ask.
It's hard to see the pain behind the mask.
bearing teh burden of a secret storm.
Sometimes she wishes she was never born.

Through the wind and the rain, she stands hard as a stone.
In a world that she can't rise above.
But her dreams give her wings and she flies to a place where she's loved.
Concrete angel.

Somebody cries in the middle of the night.
The neighbors hear, but they turn out the light.
A fragile soul caught in the hands of fate.
When morning comes, it'll be too late.

Through the wind and the rain, she stands hard as a stone.
In a world that she can't rise above.
But her dreams give her wings and she flies to a place where she's loved.
Concrete angel.

A statue stands in a shaded place.
An angel girl with an upturned face.
Her name is written on a polished rock.
A broken heart that the world forgot.

Through the wind and the rain, she stands hard as a stone.
In a world that she can't rise above.
But her dreams give her wings and she flies to a place where she's loved.
Concrete angel.
The End

I nearly cried when I first heard the song today.
It is so sad how the world has corrupted so strongly. Madeleine isn't the only one.
There are so many more that need our prayers just as much Madeleine does.
Their names and faces are unknown to us, but their souls are suffering. And we need to do all we can about it.
When we hear a child's scream next door, and an adults angry voice, and the screaming slowly fade, we need to do everything we can to help them.

We need to be their guardian angel. And keep our eyes open fro anything we can do to help
those broken hearts out there.
If there is anything that makes me upset enough to cry, it is child abduction and child abuse, and every other thing out in the world that disturbs a precious child.

God put us on Earth to praise Him, and one the things that makes God happiest, is helping those who need help.

Triumph over evil is one of God's favorite things, as long we are doing it for Him.

Sorry I haven't written too much lately, but I have school, so just please don't desert me.

God Bless Those With Sad Problems Such As These, And Those Without.

Sorry...

Hey Everyone.
I am at my cousins' house, as we are staying at their house until we leave for the States. We are all getting presents and despedida (going away) parties and all the while I feel like crying and just running!! I just want to LEAVE and get away from all the emotional hoo-ha. It is REALLY starting to bug me.
I will miss everyone here So Much. But, I know I will be VERY emotionally strong in mind and heart.
Anyway, the reason I haven't blogged is because an awful lot of stuff has been going on. We are leaving to the states in 2 days. I am singing tonight, as this will be my last opportunity to do so. I am not singing solo, but I am doing a duet with the teen from our church. It is a beautiful song, and I am glad that I get the opportunity to sing it before I leave. I have so many goodbye notes and gifts to last me 6 months. And my best friend, Belen Sinai Suarez La Cruz, made me a beautiful gift. It is a diary. It is pink and red, and it has a little latch to close it, and inside is a notebook. It is a notebook, with a diary-like cover. With Hello Kitty on the cover and my name above the latch. She is so sweet and I am going to miss her so much. But, I am going to try not to look back, but to never forget. Venezuela is still with me and it always will be.
As Lucy Arce said as a testimony, after the church did a surprise slide show for us, she said,
"You are leaving a big heart here in Venezuela, but God is going to give you more hearts every time you lose one." Those words really touched my heart.
But I need to keep these words in my mind and my heart during every hard time.
" The Lord is my strength and my shield. My heart trusts in Him, and I am helped."
Prov. 28:7a.
Praying,
God Bless,
And keep praying for Maddie McCaan.

NO PAINT, NO PAY!!

We are painting the outside of the house so that we can give it back to the owner in the nice (but old) states that we found it.WE are going to get paid as well.
We are all a mess! Paint in our hair, paint on our arms and legs, ETC!! And we can't even take a shower!! There is no water today. Except for some buckets.
Normally, I would go up and just use the buckets but my state is calling for some EXTREME measures!!
However, our cousin came over and he offered that me and my sister go to his house because WE were invited to a party tonight. And we'll scare everyone off looking like Larry the Painter Guy!!
Thank Heaven for cousins. Dad is going to pay us though, so it is worth it.
Actually, I enjoy climbing the big ladder with my paint-holder and brush. It's kinda fun.
Also, I can't go to my music rehearsal this afternoon as The Wicked Witch of The Paint!! They'll throw me out!!
I am NOT a city-sissy, but I refuse to try and wash myself from a bucket in time for church. Any other days it'd be fine, but not today.
Well, the house looks very nice, and I kind of wish we weren't leaving and we could just STAY IN ONE PLACE for more than 6 weeks, but as my Mom said in HER blog...Oh, well!!!
Well, God Bless Everyone!! Including little Maddie!!

Just A Quick Update

I feel like a bomb exploded in my throat. I am sick with Tonsillitis again. I have already had it so many times that I can't remember how many times I have had it!! IS THAT SCARY OR WHAT??
Anyway, I just want to thank everyone for the prayers on my 'goodbye, doggies' situation.
Thank you. They are really helping.
Our house is also very empty, as many of you know, we are moving to the states. Packing is NOT very fun, but it HAS to be done. ( As my Mom, AKA Jungle Mom always says.)
My room is no longer a room. All of my posters have been taken down, and pretty soon, my bed will be gone as well, since it has already been sold.
We are going to be having a yard sale in a few days as well. Boy, are things hectic.
And (as if that's not enough) I have a rehearsal with a friend of mine, this Wednesday as well as a good-bye party that same night.
Let's hope I get better before then. Oh well, at least I get to eat ice cream! (if Dad will ever go out and get that along with my antibiotics.)
The Lord has blessed my whole family, in all the time he gave us to have here.
No one ever say that he doesn't care.
Also, my turtles will be going to their new homes sometime this week. They, too, will have happy homes.
Well, I need to get some rest for another long day tomorrow.
God Bless, and keep praying for little Madeleine McCaan.
Oh, and keep checking Peter's blog. Don't leave him all alone.
He writes poetry like a professional! I feel each of his posts deeply.
BTW, Shane won the Caption Contest.
" I AM THE BEAST!! FEAR ME!!"
Soon I will do another caption contest. And I want Tom Blogical to enter, too. He is a humorous genius.
Well, Bye Now!!

I Wrote this just today...

A poem to my dearest doggies. Please read it. It made me cry.

J'sWild9

It was not easy to write this, believe me.
But I gathered up the courage, and wrote it,
Tears inside and out.

God Bless my Doggies.
Keep praying for Madeleine!

And if it doesn't seem silly to you,
Please pray for my doggies, too.
I am, and it doesn't seem strange to me.

Happy Father's Day, Dad!

To All Dads!!

Father's Day is your day,
so sit back, relax, and put the work away.

So, no more working for you to do,
We will be doing things for you!

You are a superhero, considering all that you do,
For me, Mom, Jackie, Josh and Jewel, too!

I am glad that you finally get to have your own way,
And I am glad that I finally get to say, "Happy Father's Day!"

You are an inspiration to us all,
You help us back up when we fall.

God has blessed me, to have you as my Dad.
And no one could ever replace you, and for that I am glad.

I hope that someday I can measure up to you,
And I hope you'll always be there, to tell me what to do.

HAPPY FATHER'S DAY, DAD!!!
I LOVE YOU!!!

Just Some Rantings..

WHAT HAVE I DONE??

I showed Mom the miracle of Youtube videos on Blogspot.
This can only mean that any political video she finds will be posted then and there.
WHY do I do these things?? WHY do I get myself into situations like this??

She called me, I went, she said she wanted to post something she and Josh had found about Hitler.
I got comfortable, and copied EMBED, and asked her where her New Post entry was that she wanted it in. Pasted it there, and she got all excited! And started talking about how easy it was, and how all that time, she had been afraid to try it.

WHAT HAVE I DONE???

Now she knows how to put any Chavez videos, Iran videos, Strike videos, political videos that explain Chavez, and on and on and on...

Oh, no..
Resistance is futile. And what's worse??
Above in the story about Mom and Youtube, I taught YOU to copy and paste them, too.
AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!

Had To Post This Really Quick

~*Summer Has Come*~

Do you hear the birds singing?
Do you see the children playing?
This means summer has come.

Do you hear the peaceful mornings,
The brightness of each day?
This means summer has come.

When you wake,
Do you see the grass billowing in the breeze?
This means summer has come.

The trees as they rustle,
The dogs barking gaily?
This means summer has come.

When you nestle down at night,
Do you hear the peaceful silence?
This means summer has come.

As you pray by your bed,
Do hear no sounds but your own voice?
This means summer has come.

When you look out your window,
Do you see the sun shining?
This means summer has come.

Do you fall asleep at night,
Hearing the night crickets singing?
This means summer has come.

Do you agree with this poem,
Nodding your head at each question?
This means summer has come.

~*~The Child~*~

His powers are endless,
His holiness, enchanting.
Though at night there are children, awake, scared, and panting.

They do not know that a friend is there for them,
To love and care for them,
To hold and cherish them.

They do not think that He is real,
for their parents told them to forget about Him.
But the little child is still there, hoping.

The child feels alone, no friends doth he have,
That is the reason he thinks of God like that
He lies there alone, oh so alone.

Then stands right up,
and walks to the window.
He stares out at the night.

Then something so beautiful,
Brightens his sight.
A person, he sees.

Come to me, the Father said.
Forget about your blanket,
forget about your bed.

The child is not scared or frightened,
for there was something so calming about this person.
The child dropped his belongings, and stretched out his hand.

The father took it, and smiled, and said,
Thank you, Dear child.
Now let's take a walk, the father said.

Your father is kind to you, is he not?
The father asked, like he had forgot.
No, the little child said.

Come with me, and we will go to Him,
The father said.
Alright, said the boy.

And the Lord patted his head.

I am not sure about this poem it may not have the correct grammar and it may not rhyme, but I just wanted it to be out of my head.
Any suggestions on help in the grammar and rhyming? Just leave me a comment with what you think should go there. And if you don't get the point of it? That is alright, too.

Keep praying for Madeleine.
God Bless All

Good Morning

Hello everyone. I hope it's a great morning for you all too. May 22, I went to my cousins' recital. They played piano REALLY well.
They played the music box dancer, a world famous song.
Today Josh, Naomy, Me and Dad want to go to the zoo here. Parque Bararrida, it is called.

I have made an email prayer chain-letter for her. I have sent it to everyone I know to pray for her.

The birds are singing, dogs are out on their walks.. It is such a peaceful day today.
Josh, Naomy and Me watched the movie Open Season last night with the projector in the living room.

I am making my rounds to the blogs I know.

Each of you have a blessed day,
and keep praying for Madeleine.

Another Post of Maddie And The World She Is Lost In

She still has not been found. Bless her poor, dear little heart.
As my Aunt Pam has said in one of my comments,
"There are millions more that we don't even hear about." Which nearly broke my heart as I read that. It is so very sad, but it is also, very true.

In the headlines here, there are always MISSING articles. For children, and anyone. Venezuela also has the highest gun-death rate in the World. Isn't that comforting?

Maddie could be returned, or she could not, even how much it hurts. The kidnapper will be taken care of, if that is God's wish. But no matter how much we are tempted to, we must not despise the kidnapper, instead, we must pray for the kidnapper.

He may need just as much help as Maddie does. He may not know the Lord, and that is one of the most sure signs that he needs prayer.
Maddie is a sweet, caring, lovely girl. Please pray and help to not put her on the child murder list.

Jonbenet is in the list.
Jessica, from Florida is there, and all around the world are so many more. Please do not add Madeleine McCann to the list!

Each and every missing child needs prayer.

Each and every kidnapper needs prayer just as much as the child he kidnapped.

There are so many sinful, cruel things going on in the World right at this very minute.

Remember that Maddie is not the only one.
Remember that the person who took her from her dreams is not the only one.

When I pray for Maddie, I pray for World she is lost in, too.

I pray for all the children who have been taken and are lost, as well.

I pray for all the kidnapper's and murderers, and all of them.

I pray that they will receive the Lord before it is too late.

That someone will tell the ones who think they are unloved, that someone loves them.

I pray that the Lord will help all of the people in the World who just feel like they mean nothing to anyone, for them to feel God's love.

And you know what??

If you don't already pray for the World in it's tragic state, then I think you should start!

Keep Praying for Maddie, and for the person she is with.

Everyone needs prayer.

Help it spread!

Madeleine McCann

I know many of you are praying, and I am very gratified. The Lord is hearing each and everyone's prayers.
As we all know, Maddie still hasn't been found or been returned. It just hurts me that she is lost and alone somewhere, and her innocent mind is blank.
I urge all people who visit my blog to make a post or put a picture of Maddie on your blogs if you haven't already done so.
She needs all the help she can get. (And so does the kidnapper!!)
I can't believe how dangerous and cruel the world has become for little children. They're innocent!
I used to be so mad at the Lord because He let it happen. But I have learned my lesson. He always has a reason.
It is just that sometimes we don't understand the reason. We are completely blank on why He lets these things happen.
Such as Maddie's situation. She was taken from her bed, by someone she didn't know was good or bad.
Children her age know not yet that there is a difference from the nice-looking man on the street to her own father.
The Lord may have let it happen to teach a lesson, or He may have done it to show Maddie's parents the precious value of life. The options are endless.
But, if we believe enough, and if we can just have enough faith and hope, then we just might be able to get little Maddie back.
God Bless All,
Keep Praying,
And be strong during this confusing time for you, Maddie.
I pray for you and so do millions.
We're doing one of the best things to help you.
We're counting on not just the police and the FBI and all of them.
We are counting on The Big Guy. And anything is possible with Him.

PLEASE KEEP PRAYING

This breaks the hearts of millions. Down to David Beckham. A large amount of people are thinking of her.
So, let's just keep up the prayers, please.
Thanks,
And I am sure she'd thank you too, if she even knew what was going on. Poor girl.

A Poem for Madeleine McCann

Madeleine:

My prayers are with you,
I hope you're safe.
I hope the kidnapper returns you,
For goodness sakes.

You are missed deeply,
You have the country's prayers,
If the kidnapper hurts you,
Fear not, for God is there.

He is the shepherd,
You are the sheep,
The kidnapper's the wolf,
who trespassed into the keep.

God will take care of him,
You'll see,
I pray you'll be safe,
Until He sets you free.

You are in many people's hearts,
And you're in minds all over the world,
God be with you,
Sweet little girl.

Lord willing,
You'll go back unharmed,
But just remember,
You're in God's arms.

Please pray for the safe return of 4-year-old Madeleine McCann.
She was taken from her hotel room on May 3rd, while she and her younger brother and sister slept, as their parents were across the street dining. Mrs. Kate McCann went to check on them all, about every 45 minutes or half hour. Then one time, she went to check on the kids again, and ran out screaming that Madeleine wasn't there.
PLEASE pray for her. I know she needs it.

Good Morning, Everyone.

Well, today my brother Josh and Naomi will land in Valencia around midnight.
Me and Dad are the only ones that will go and pick them up and drive straight back through.
I am so excited!! Today, I was also supposed to teach a girl that is getting married, the rhythm of the song I sang in two weddings. She is gonna be singing that song to her husband, but Jewel was gonna get her dress fitted while I practiced with the bride, but the lady who is doing the wedding dresses, canceled. So, I couldn't go today. And, shush!! It's a surprise for the guests that she is singing to the groom.
Jewel is in the wedding... AGAIN.
I'm going to the wedding. But AGAIN, I am not in it. BUT MY TIME HAD BETTER COME!! Like Dad says. ;)
It's very peaceful this morning. The trees in our backyard are rustling calmly, the birds are singing, I am in my pajamas, it's 10:24 AM, and I am writing a post. Ahhhhh... What could be better?
Mom is probably still asleep, considering she has the whole day, to sleep.
Dad is not here. He went to get our car washed.
Josh and Naomi are either driving to Miami, in Miami, or on a plane.
Jewel is watching morning TV.
What a great day!!
Well, l8ter!
God Bless You All!

7. I love writing stories!! There are thousands of them in my room.

Well, that's all of my random things.

I'm Back

Hello Everyone!
Sorry I have been out of Blogworld. I was at my cousins' house for 5 days while Mom relaxed and and went to the hospital. I was able to get in the pool, and I had alot of fun. Me and my two cousins, Janelle and Jeanah, were playing around with little pipes, and it was Jeanah's brilliant idea to put little tiny mangoes in the pipes and shoot them at people.
So we formed a little army of three, and Jeanah was the captain, I was second-in-command, and Janelle was a private. We would wait for anyone to come near the pool, such as Jason, their older brother, and Jeanah would say,
"Prenez Vos Posicionz!" Which is French for Into Position or something like that, and me and Janelle and Jeanah would get into position and SHOOT. We had perfect aim, and hit anyone we wanted to. Jeanah kept telling me and Janelle to 'wait for it.' Then the doorbell rang...
The whole church youth group came in, and me and Jeanah and Janelle formed a small huddle in the corner of the pool. Jeanah, as the captain, told us the plan.
" Okay, no shooting any of the girls. Just the boys. Ready, and go to the fort!"
We would all run to 'the fort' our shooting ground at the front of the pool, and we shot every boy we wanted to. Then the teenagers kept taunting us, and coming closer to OUR pool.
"Steady! Aim! FIRE!!" Jeanah shouted, and we shot the living daylights out of the trespassers.
They never bothered us again.
Then we would reload our guns, and carry little pouches of mangoes, and spy on the teens in the office. And once they came out, they got bombarded with our mangoes!
Finally, the teenagers left and we rested, since we had already shot all of the teenagers and anyone who had come near the pool a while before.
For celebrating, we got out of the pool, and ran around singing the Indian War whoop.
And to finish the day off, we ate a delicious supper, and watched a movie.
P.S. The mangoes do NOT hurt at all. They just hit and you can feel a little pain, but they don't hurt anything like stubbing your toe or hammering your thumb. But they do sting a little... Hehehe..
God Bless You All!!

ME!!

This is me singing at my second wedding. I was so, so nervous!! The wedding was beautiful! Gold and white go really well together! Maria T (the bride) and the groom, Richard are still off on their honeymoon. Haha!

Soon, I will be singing again. At a conference. One song with Jewel, and another song by myself. But I am not the least bit nervous! I guess it's because I have already sang in two weddings, in Smyrna Baptist Church I have sung during Invitation, I did a Spanish special and I have sung in Smyrna's choir, I sang in another church in the States, a Christmas solo in Santa Biblia, I entered a singing contest at Camp Sunlight and won, sang with a little girl, Paola, in Santa Biblia, sang to various friends and family members Mom knows, sang during Invitation in Santa Biblia, sang 2 songs with Kid's Choir, sang in a play in Santa Biblia, sang 2 specials on Invitation Sunday in my classroom, sang with the Women's Choir, I sing in my house all the time, I sang with my cousins in ChajuraƱa once, and I am planning to sing with a teenager in church as a special, and I want to sing with one of the people who play guitar and sing. And what I REALLY want to do is to sing with Jesus Adrian Romero, Steve Green and Andrea Bocelli. That last one, Andrea Bocelli, I KNOW it is absolutely impossible for me to sing with him, I know, but I can dream, right?? And Holly Stell sang with him, so, why can't I??

I am not nervous at all about the conference.
However, Jewel is wound up tighter than a tick! She agreed to do it, so she has to stay true to her word, but she is still nervous!!
I hope it'll all go well...
And I hope all the songs coming up will touch peoples' hearts and to help non believers to believe.
Oh, and pray for Jewel! Poor thing!!

We As Christians...

How many times do we hide our belief in Christ? A lot of times, it's because we want to be normal, or we want a normal person, a non-believer to like us. Like, for instance, ( this is not true. It is just an example.) a non-believer friend or such, blows up at us because we don't agree on some of the movies they like. The options are endless. The point is, they ask us why we don't like the movies, and are we really religious or something? And here is what we say, " What? Oh, no, no. I'm not religious! I have no idea why I said that! I forgot to say that that is my all-time favorite movie!" Now, why do we say that?
Because we want to be normal. I think trying to be normal should be one of the things all Christians should stay away from.
Even in the Bible, in Luke 6:26, it explains that we should be as different as possible. It says," Woe unto you, when all men shall speak well of you. For so did their fathers to the false prophets."
If we are normal, and everyone likes us, then how can we minister? How can we be Christians? We should be different in order for us to minister. The Bible says Woe! Woe unto you who when all men shall speak well of you!!
If you're a Christian, yes, a lot of people are going to hate you. Welcome to my life! I live in Venezuela and lots of people don't like me or my family, just because we are Christians and we wanted to minister to the Ye'kwana Indians in ChajuraƱa.
They disliked us so much they told us horrible things, they told us to go, and to take our ministry with us! Sure, we were hated, resented, and people wanted to spit on us. But we took it, and were proud that we had done the most important thing. We had left the Word of Christ with as many Indians as we could, and right now, those Indians still believe in Him, and they are still glad being Christians and glad telling others about Christ. That makes me happy!
Now, we should be PROUD to be Christians!! We should be overjoyed to know that God loves us and the world! Not upset and embarrassed. Not ashamed that people don't like us if we are who God wants us to be! Now, let's grab our Bibles, and let's get out there in the world, and share our happiness with others. Let's make the world as happy as we are in the same way we are!
WHO'S WITH ME???

Guys, We Need Plenty Of Prayers Going Up.

Today is my Grandpa's surgery day. I would really appreciate it if you all would keep him in extra prayer today. Pray the operation will go well, and that he'll be fine afterwards. I know alot of you are praying, and I am very thankful for it. Because I know we all love him and want him to be better. So, thanks again!
G2G!
God bless all, especially my Grandpa and all who are praying for him.
Thank you.
